2022 Asia Cup India Squad: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian cricket team for the 2022 Asia Cup. Opener KL Rahul has returned to the team, then Jasprit Bumrah is out of this tournament due to injury.

Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Chahar and Akshar Patel did not get their place

Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Chahar and Axar Patel have not found a place in India’s 15-man squad for the Asia Cup. Apart from this, spin all-rounder Washington Sundar has also not been included in the team. At the same time, experienced fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of the tournament due to injury.

These young players got a chance

Many young players have been included in the Indian team for the 2022 Asia Cup to be played in the United Arab Emirates. Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan have got a place in the 15-member team.

Team India for 2022 Asia Cup- Rohit Sharma (capt), KL Rahul (vice captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wk), Dinesh Karthik (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan.

The 2022 Asia Cup will start from August 27 and the final will be played on September 11. Here India-Pakistan (IND vs PAK) are placed in the same group and they will compete on August 28 at 6 pm. Let us tell you that the Asia Cup is being organized in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Two groups have been made in the Asia Cup. There will be three teams in each group. In Group A, there will be another qualifying team along with India-Pakistan. Similarly, Afghanistan’s team has been kept in Group B along with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

According to the schedule, India will start its campaign against Pakistan from August 28. After this, India’s second match will be held on August 31. After this, 6 matches will be played in the Super-4 round from September 3. The top two teams will meet in the final on September 11.
