Hollywood’s best actors are seen in the trailer of ‘Amsterdam’. This year’s Oscars slapgate includes Chris Rock, Christian Bale, John David Washington, Margot Robbie, Taylor Swift, Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Riseborough, Mathias Schoenerts, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers and Joe Salda. Chris and Bell director David O. Russell finds his character in the star-studded thriller challenging, reports Variety.
The trailer will take the audience back to the 1930s. The story of the film is brilliantly presented on the basis of imagination. The story is about three friends played by Bell, John and David Washington. Apart from these, Margot Robbie plays the role of a nurse.
According to ‘Variety’, in the film, he believes himself to be an accused of someone’s murder, although this is not true.
The trailer begins with the character of Robert De Niro, who sets out to find out the truth about his friend’s death.
“It’s going to be a lot bigger than any of us,” observes Robbie’s character, who has seen some of the stuff. “I had to stab a boy, I had to hit a woman with a brick once.”
“Variety” further states that Russell also wrote and produced the film, marking his first feature since 2015’s “Joy.” Drake and Adele Noor serve as executive producers on “Amsterdam.”
Disney’s 20th Century Studios and New Regency will open “Amsterdam” in theaters on November 4.
