Athiya Shetty holds KL Rahul close in first pictures from haldi ceremony. see here

On Friday, Athiya Shetty finally shared some pictures from her haldi ceremony. Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul got married last week at her father Suniel Shetty’s house in Khandala. The couple has been slowly sharing pictures from the wedding and other celebrations. The first picture in the album shows Athiya and KL Rahul laughing out loud while getting drenched in turmeric and sandalwood paste. They are also covered with marigold flower petals. The next photo shows a better look of Athiya’s outfit, a peach-pink suit with golden details. In one photo, she is also seen applying turmeric paste on her brother Ahan Shetty’s face. The last photo shows her posing against the sunlight. He captioned the post as ‘Sukh (happiness)’.

KL Rahul and Athiya got married on Tuesday at Sunil’s farmhouse in Khandala. After the wedding, Sunil spoke to the photographers and thanked them for their blessings. Sunil also revealed that the wedding reception will be held after the IPL season.

Select friends who attended the wedding included Diana Penty, Krishna Shroff, Anshula Kapoor and Anushka Ranjan along with husband Aditya Seal. Cricketers Varun Aaron and Ishant Sharma also attended along with wife Pratima Singh.

Hours after taking the rounds, Athiya and KL Rahul released a join post, writing, “‘In your light, I learn to love…’ Today we married our dearest in the house that Gave us immense happiness.” And peace. With hearts full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness.”

Sunil posted the wedding picture of the newly wed couple on Tuesday and captioned it, “A reason to hold hands and believe because sometimes the right place is a person and the material is love and faith… Congratulations and my God Bless the children.” ,
