Commonwealth Games 2022: After the end of Commonwealth Games, worrying news has come out for Pakistani fans. Pakistan boxers Suleiman Baloch and Nazir Ullah Khan have gone missing in Birmingham after the conclusion of the Commonwealth Games. The Pakistan Boxing Federation is looking for boxers with the help of local authorities. Sama TV reported that the travel documents of Nazir and Suleman are still in the possession of the PBF.
According to sources, both have gone missing from the airport before leaving for Pakistan. The Pakistan Olympic Association has constituted a four-member committee to investigate the matter. PoA general secretary Mohd Khalid Mahmood said, “We will not allow these boxers to tarnish the name of the country at any cost. The British police will find them soon.”
It is noteworthy that heavyweight boxer (86-92kg) Nazir was knocked out in the 16th round, while Suleiman Baloch lost in the 32nd round in the light welterweight category (60-63.5kg) during the recently concluded Commonwealth Games.
