Child actor Saud Mansoori recalls working with Nitesh Pandey, his love for stray animals

Late actor Nitesh Pandey was an animal lover and regularly used to feed stray animals around him. Child artist Mohd Saud Mansoori, who worked with Nitesh in the 2015 TV show Kabhi Aise Geet Gaya Karo, recalls working with him. Nitesh Pandey was found dead in a hotel in Igatpuri, Nashik (Maharashtra) earlier this week. An ANI report said that Nitesh might have died of a heart attack. Nitesh Pandey’s love for stray animals
In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Mohd Saud Mansoori said, “Nitesh sir blessed me with a smile whenever we met. He was a down to earth person. He used to feed stray animals. I really feel very sad for the animals that will be waiting for him.”
Saud’s first meeting with Nitesh
He also recalled his first meeting with Nitesh. “We first met on the sets of our show ‘Kabhi Aise Geet Gaya Karo’…It was a really fun time, I’m glad I got a chance to work with him and know him personally.”
Talking about finding out about the sad news, he said, “I was sleeping. When I woke up, my mother told me. It was upsetting and brought me back memories of when we used to work. Used to be taken. Rest in peace. My heart goes out to his family and his son, who is my age. I haven’t been able to meet his family yet.

Looking back on his 2015 show with Nitesh, Saud said, “In the show, he played a lawyer and I was the kid who took up the case against the school. I had a lot to learn from him. He gave me guidance and Will inspire – both off and on camera. It was a great experience. He used to tell me I was doing better than him – of course, I wasn’t. He always told me to be as brave as my character in that show . He wanted me to always stand up for what was right. He was very transparent. We will miss him.”
After working in films such as Khosla Ka Ghosla (2006) and Om Shanti Om (2007), Nitesh also acted in commercially successful films. He was seen in Dabangg 2 (2012), Madaari (2016), Rangoon (2017) and Badhaai Do (2022). His next project, ZEE5’s Gyarah Gyarah is also ready for release. Apart from these, she also acted in many popular TV shows like Durgesh Nandini, Astitva Ek Prem Kahani, Saya, Justju and Manzilin Apni Apni.
Saud started his career at the young age of seven. Since then he has worked in popular TV shows. These include Kumkum Bhagya, Jodhaa Akbar and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He also made cameo appearances in Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya in 2009 and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2014 and Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. Her most recent project was Mast Mauli which went off the air earlier this year.
