Uddhav Thackeray has resigned from the post of Chief Minister in Maharashtra, with which the Maha Vikas Aghadi government has come to an end. In the year 2019, Shiv Sena broke ties with the BJP and formed the government with its ideological rivals Congress and NCP. To prevent BJP from coming to power, a political experiment was done in the form of Maha Vikas Aghadi, but after 31 months this political experiment collapsed.

The political struggle has come to an end in Maharashtra. After the Supreme Court hearing, Uddhav Thackeray has resigned from the post of Chief Minister on Wednesday. In the year 2019, to prevent BJP from coming to power in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena-Congress-NCP, being ideologically opposed, did a political experiment in the form of Maha Vikas Aghadi. Uddhav Thackeray’s head was the crown of CM, but after 31 months, the Maha Vikas Aghadi government has come to an end. In such a situation, the question arises that in the political experiment of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government which lasted for two and a half years, what did Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP politically lose and gain?

Let us tell you that in the assembly elections of 2019, Shiv Sena and BJP fought together. The NDA alliance came out with a thumping majority, but the 25-year-old friendship between Shiv Sena and BJP was broken and Shiv Sena joined hands with NCP-Congress to occupy the chief minister’s post. Parties standing on two opposite ends of ideology came together due to political compulsions and Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance was formed in Maharashtra.

Uddhav lost everything due to power

In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena and BJP came closer in 1984 and formed an alliance in 1989. The issue of Hindutva had kept the Shiv Sena-BJP together, but the throne of power separated the paths of both the parties. Chief Uddhav Thackeray had definitely become the Chief Minister by breaking ties with the BJP. Uddhav had definitely got the power in the political experiment of Maha Vikas Aghadi. But he has to bear the loss from his image to the ideology of Hindutva. Eknath Shinde, who rebelled from Raj Thackeray, accused Uddhav Thackeray of deviating from the Hindutva agenda and said that the party has deviated from the original objectives of Balasaheb Thackeray.
Till Uddhav Thackeray came to power, his image was spotless. Uddhav was never accused of any kind of corruption and while in power, Uddhav saved his image, but could not save the Hindutva image of the party. Being with the Congress-NCP, he had to explain for two and a half years for compromising on the issue of Hindutva. Uddhav Thackeray and his family had to go till Ayodhya.

Crisis on the future of Shiv Sena

The revolt of Eknath Shind has completely shattered the Shiv Sena and for the first time the Thackeray family has been challenged politically. Around 40 MLAs are with Eknath Shinde, while many of the party’s MPs have also become rebels. The crisis over the political future of Shiv Sena has deepened. In such a situation, will Uddhav lose control of the organization from Thackeray’s hands?

This is the reason why Uddhav Thackeray resigned from the post of Chief Minister as well as MLC and said that from now on I will sit in Shiv Sena’s office and will strengthen the party again. It is clear from this that a crisis has arisen in front of Uddhav to save Shiv Sena.
