CWG 2022: Indian table tennis team beat Bangladesh 3-0 to reach semi-finals

Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games: Defending champions India reached the semi-finals of the table tennis team event at the Commonwealth Games 2022 after beating Bangladesh 3-0 in the quarter-finals here on Sunday. The Indian team fielded its top-order players Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Harmeet Desai for the first doubles match against Ramhimliyan Bavm and Mohtasin Ahmed Ridoy at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham.

he added, “(We) will now play in the semi-final against Nigeria, who are at the bottom. Last time (Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games) We won the gold and I hope we can defend it this time.”
he added, “We tried some combinations in doubles and singles (about) how we will play in the semi-finals, which pair is better. We will discuss about the team tonight.”
