Diljit Kaur, Nikhil Patel as bride and groom in ivory, Karishma Tanna and Ridhi Dogra shared pictures

Diljit wore an ivory lehenga with a red dupatta for the Hindu wedding. She paired her look with diamond jewelery along with a nose ring. Karisma shared a picture of them together on her Instagram stories. She herself was decked up in an orange lehenga and pearl jewelery and was accompanied by husband Varun Bangera, who was in a black suit.

Riddhi wore a gray and peach lehenga for the wedding and shared pictures from Dalljiet and Nikhil’s wedding ceremony as they took part in some of the rituals. Diljit also feeds sweets to Nikhil as part of the ritual.

Before the wedding, Dalljiet was accompanied by her friends from the industry Karishma Tanna, Sanaya Irani, Sunayana Fozdar and Riddhi Dogra for their haldi, mehendi and sangeet ceremony.

Dalljiet was earlier married to actor Shalin Bhanot, who recently participated in Bigg Boss 16. Dalljiet will shift to Nairobi, Kenya with her son Jayden post marriage. Jayden was born in 2014 to Daljeet and Shaleen. She had announced the wedding in February with a picture of her and Nikhil posing in bed. She wrote alongside it, “The stars aligned and fate played a part in bringing our hearts and souls together. Our journey to forever begins now. Nikhil also has two daughters from a previous marriage, 13-year-old Ariana and eight-year-old Anika. One of them was seen participating in the pre-wedding celebrations in some pictures shared on social media. Both the girls were also there as part of Diljit’s mehendi design. Dalljiet met Nikhil at a party in Dubai and the two got engaged in Nepal in January.
