Dim Sum to Dessert: Check out the food menu of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s engagement ceremony

Actor Parineeti Chopra got engaged to politician Raghav Chadha in a ceremony on Saturday evening. The engagement took place in Delhi following Sikh rituals. After months of dating speculations, the two exchanged rings at Kapurthala House, New Delhi in the presence of family, friends and special guests. The ceremony was organized in a grand manner with the venue being decorated with white flowers and greenery. Fairy lights were also seen as part of the decorations. The food menu was also lavish as can be seen in a video shared on Instagram. In the clip, several dishes were seen on the multi-cuisine spread, including Dim Sum and a variety of desserts such as cakes and kulfis, and delicious Old Delhi style Kebabs.

Parineeti is known as a foodie. According to a report in News18, the actor’s brothers Sahaj and Shivang, who are food entrepreneurs, took up the responsibility of the engagement menu.

Parineeti and Raghav Chadha were twinning in cream and peach outfits for the event. Parineeti wore a full-sleeved turtle neck suit, opted for heavy earrings, maangtika and rings. The neckline of the suit was adorned with pearls. Raghav chooses Achkan.

After the engagement ceremony, Parineeti and Raghav greeted the paparazzi outside the house. The recently engaged couple was all smiles for the cameras. The family members also distributed sweets to the photographers posted outside the venue.

Parineeti and Raghav also shared their engagement pictures on Instagram. In the first picture, Raghav holds Parineeti by his waist while she rests her head on Raghav’s cheeks. In the second picture, the couple posed for a cozy frame. Raghav saw Parineeti in the next picture while Parineeti was watching from a distance. The last photo featured a close-up look of her engagement ring.

Parineeti captioned her post, “Everything I prayed… I said yes! Waheguru ji mehar karan…” Raghav wrote in the caption, “Everything I prayed.. She said yes! Waheguru ji mehar karan …” Soon after posting the pictures, Parineeti’s friends from the film fraternity congratulated her with messages. Ranveer Singh wrote, “Blessings” with a few emojis. Anushka Sharma, Bhumi Pednekar, Neha Dhupia and Kanika Kapoor have written ‘Congratulations’ on her post.

Priyanka Chopra also wished Parineeti on Instagram. “Congratulations Tisha and Raghav…can’t wait for the wedding! So happy for you both and the family. It’s so much fun meeting the family!” Priyanka wrote in the caption. Priyanka shared pictures giving an inside glimpse of the ceremony.

Rumors of Parineeti and Raghav dating started after they were spotted together outside a restaurant in Mumbai in March. In the last few months, Parineeti and Raghav have been spotted in Delhi, Mumbai and Mohali on several occasions.
