When asked about the captaincy, Hardik said, ‘Why not? If given a chance, I would be very happy to do it. But for now, we have the World Cup coming up, it’s about getting better as a team. The kind of players we have and the freedom we are getting, this is a new India. I can see players playing freely and not worrying about failing. And when you do that, you do special things.’

Talking about the match, Hardik won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Team India scored 188 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
