Pakistan News: A politician’s relative and his guards in Pakistan’s Sindh province have been arrested for trying to overtake their vehicle. Hindu family attacked. Following an uproar on social media, the Inspector General of Sindh Police has ordered an inquiry into Sunday’s incident. After a video of the harassment went viral on social media, people demanded justice for the victims, including a man, three women and two children from the minority community.
Know what is the whole matter
The attacker named Shamsher Pitafi, who is said to be a cousin of Sindh’s Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Abdul Bari Pitafi, and his guards misbehaved with the Hindu family near Ghotki area after their guards tried to overtake the vehicle. Police said, “It seems that the Hindu family’s car overtook Papafi’s car on the highway, but during this one of the children threw out an ice cream wrapper, which hit the windshield of Papafi’s Vigo car. Father was angry that the family did not even stop and ran away.
The family living in Sanghar was returning from a temple called Raharki Sahib, which later stopped at a roadside restaurant in Ghotki. Father followed them there, and he and his men misbehaved with the Hindu family and broke the windows of their car. The people present on the spot intervened and pacified the matter, after which the father left from there.
While giving information in this matter, the Senior Vice President of PTI tweeted, “Hindu family was badly beaten up by the Sardar of the Pitafi tribe and his gang, the windows of the car were broken. Also men and women were tortured. Whereas the case was of an ice cream wrapper which blew up and rammed into the father’s car.
