Karachi : In Pakistan’s Sindh province, a relative of a politician and his guard attacked a Hindu family when they tried to overtake their vehicle. The police gave this information on Monday. Following an uproar on social media, the Inspector General of Sindh Police has ordered an inquiry into Sunday’s incident. After a video of the harassment circulated on social media, people demanded justice for the victims, who included a man, three women and two children from the minority community.
The alleged attacker named Shamsher Pitafi, who is said to be a cousin of Sindh’s Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Abdul Bari Pitafi, and his guards allegedly accompanied a Hindu family near Ghotki area after their guards tried to overtake the vehicle. mistreated. Police said, “It seems that the Hindu family’s car overtook Papafi’s car on the highway, but during this time one of the children threw out an ice cream wrapper, which hit the windshield of Papafi’s Vigo car.”
Family attacked, windows broken
Police said that the father was upset that the family did not stop and fled. The family living in Sanghar was returning from a temple called Raharki Sahib, which later stopped at a roadside restaurant in Ghotki. The father followed him there, and he and his men allegedly abused the Hindu family and broke the windows of their car. The people present on the spot intervened and pacified the matter, after which the father left from there.
