Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is very worried about his knee. These days he has undergone knee surgery in a private hospital in Australia. After the surgery, Shoaib Akhtar has shared a video from his Instagram account from the hospital bed. In the video, he said that even after 11 years of retirement, he is in trouble and needs the blessings of the fans. He also said that he could have played cricket for four or five more years, but he knew if he did, he would be on a wheel chair. Actually Shoaib Akhtar has got surgery on both his knees.


Shoaib Akhtar said, ‘It was 56 hours of surgery, both knees. I am in trouble. Need your prayers. I hope this is my last surgery. Even after retirement, I am in trouble, could have played four or five more years of cricket. I knew if I did this, I would come on a wheel chair, so I left cricket. But what I have done, I have done for Pakistan. If I get a chance then I will do it again.

Let us tell you that Shoaib Akhtar is always troubled by the pain of his knees. He has had surgery for different things many times. Shoaib Akhtar, popularly known as Rawalpindi Express, was one of the fastest bowlers of his time. He has many big records in bowling in his name. In front of his bowling, the batsmen of the opposing team used to get in awe.

Pakistan’s fast bowler has wreaked havoc on the batsmen with his bowling. Shoaib Akhtar has 178 wickets in 46 test matches. At the same time, he has taken 247 wickets in 166 ODIs. Oyb Akhtar has also played 15 International T20Is, in which he has taken 19 wickets.
