Pakistan Warship PNS Taimur: If Bangladesh did not give place to Pakistan’s China-made warship, then it has anchored in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has allowed China-made Pakistan warship PNS Taimur to stay in Colombo. Sri Lanka gave this permission to the Pakistani vessel after the Bangladesh government refused to allow it to stop at Chittagong Port.
The ship is coming here on August 15 to join the Pakistan Navy. The warship was to anchor outside the port of Chittagong from August 7 to 10 during its voyage from Shanghai to Karachi. The Sheikh Hasina government in Bangladesh refused to allow PNS Taimur to stay because August is a month of mourning for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. His father Sheikh Mujib-ur-Rahman was assassinated on 15 August 1975.
The warship is equipped with laser guided missiles
The stoppage of a Chinese-made Pakistani warship at the Sri Lankan port comes after Colombo recently urged Beijing to postpone the visit of a Chinese research vessel to the strategic Hambantota port after India expressed security concerns. An official said, “The warship equipped with laser-guided missiles is now anchored at Colombo port after the permission of the Sri Lankan government.” Let us tell you that Pakistan is continuously increasing its military equipment but its strategic needs are dependent on China. Pakistan buys weapons on a large scale from China.
