Alyssa Carlson Schwartz, a renowned meteorologist who previously held the title of Mrs. California, faced a horror on live television Saturday morning. A few seconds into the 7 a.m. KCAL newscast, co-anchors Nichelle Medina and Rachel Kim introduced Carlson Schwartz. However, before she could begin her segment, the meteorologist suddenly lost consciousness, causing her eyes to roll back and fall to the ground. TMZ later released a video of the incident. Another fan commented, “She must have fixed her heart problem now. Glad she says she is fine.” Another fan wrote, “It was sad to see this this morning. Is he still alive? “Not again woo” I don’t know but you see his right eye rolls up and looks crooked. I hope she’s okay, but you can tell she’s had work done on her face”, one added. “She’ll be okay. Only he needs another booster”, wrote another.
Before her recent health scare on live television, Alyssa Carlson Schwartz had already overcome a significant health challenge. In 2014, she was diagnosed with a leaking heart valve after experiencing another on-the-job health scare. During a broadcast on a different station, she suddenly vomited and had to be taken to the hospital, where doctors attended to the condition. However, she miraculously recovered after minimally invasive surgery to repair the valve. She shared her story to raise awareness about heart health and encourage others to get regular checkups.
