India beat West Indies by 2 wickets in 2nd ODI
India defeated West Indies by two wickets in the second One Day International at the Queen’s Park Oval here. Axar Patel played an unbeaten innings of 64 runs for India. With this win, the Indian team took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Earlier, West Indies won the toss and decided to bat. Team’s opener wicketkeeper Sai Hope scored a century of 115 runs in 135 balls with the help of 8 fours and 3 sixes. At the same time, there was a 117-run partnership between captain Nicholas Pooran and Sai Hope for the fourth wicket. Pooran also scored 74 runs while playing a brilliant innings.
