Nottingham: Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant game in the third T20I against England at Trent Bridge on Sunday, scoring 117 runs in 55 balls, despite losing the team by 17 runs.

England reached 215/7 thanks to David Malan’s 77 and Liam Livingstone’s unbeaten 42. On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav made shots around the field for India but due to lack of support from other batsmen, India were reduced to 198/9 in 20 overs. Although India has already won this series.

Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma could not show more amazing. Rohit Sharma hit two fours off Topley’s ball. But on the last ball of the fifth over, Topli bowled a slow delivery, which Sharma was caught straight at deep midwicket.

After the power-play, Suryakumar hit a four and a six off Willie in successive deliveries. After this, he welcomed Liam Livingstone with three fours in four balls.

After an exceptional lofted shot at long-off for a boundary off a yorker from Jordan, Suryakumar completed his fifth T20I fifty off 32 balls off Topley. After this, Suryakumar kept on hitting the shots and scored his century in 48 balls. Jordan dismissed Harshal Patel and Ravi Bishnoi in the last three balls of the innings for England’s victory.
