Mukesh Chhabra reveals Salman Khan lives a simple life in 1BHK flat: ‘People misunderstand honesty’

Mukesh Chhabra has done casting for many celebrities in Bollywood including Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. He has worked for Salman Khan in films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Tubelight and has seen him closely over the years. According to Mukesh, Salman has not changed much despite his stardom.

During a conversation with Ranveer Allahabadia, Mukesh Chhabra said in Hindi, ‘He (Salman Khan) is the only person who is always available for everyone, who stands by your support. He is honest and people misunderstand honesty. That’s the problem, when you say something with sincerity, people take it very differently.” He also said that due to pressure, actors come with different moods like Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan. He said, “Aapko karna karna hai bhai ka mood kaise hai.”

He called Salman a ‘man of God’ as he is popular among all age groups. “He lives a simple life. Very few people know that the place where he lives is actually a 1BHK apartment. It has a sofa, a dining table, a small area where he interacts with people, a small gym And there is a room. He is the biggest star of this country, Salman Khan. He lives a very simple life. He doesn’t like brands or he doesn’t like to buy expensive things. He will eat everything, he lives a simple life. This He doesn’t have an artistic process, he is like that. I have been interacting with him for 15 years, I haven’t seen him change,” said Mukesh.

Mukesh made his directorial debut with the film Dil Bechara starring late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Salman will next be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He also has Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif in the pipeline.
