Musician John Legend and his wife share the pain of losing son

Los Angeles. Musician John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen lost their little boy, Jack, two years ago during pregnancy, much to the detriment of both. Reportedly, following the tragedy, John, whose wife revealed last week that she is pregnant again, said that some of his recent songs are about dealing with loss and grief.

“There’s no comfort and you’re always going to feel that loss. It just keeps building up over time, so it doesn’t feel that overwhelming, but you’ll never forget it,” he said.

Their baby was born dead, Teigen shared some photos of the baby and her grief after its delivery, although John was hesitant to make the photos public. Now they feel that the decision to do so was the right one.

Speaking to Lauren Laverne on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Desert Island Discs’ she said, “I was hesitant to share it but I think Chrissy Teigen was actually right. Not the way one would realize, Many people go through these situations and feel that they are alone.”
