Nothing Phone 1 Launched in India with 50MP Cameras and Wireless Charging

Nothing Phone 1 has been launched in many other markets including India. This is the first phone from London-based company Nothing to come with a transparent back panel. Because of this, it looks quite different from other smartphones available in the market. It has a Glyph interface, which comes with LED strips, which flash when the user receives a notification. Apart from this, users can also set these strips to different patterns. The handset includes a 6.55-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

in India Nothing Phone 1 32,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Its 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs Rs 35,999 and the top-of-the-line variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB configuration costs Rs 38,999. The Nothing Phone 1 will be available on Flipkart starting July 21 at 7:00 PM in Black and White color options.
Nothing This phone will initially be sold at discounted prices of Rs 31,999 (8GB+128GB), Rs 34,999 (8GB+256GB), and Rs 37,999 (12GB+256GB). This price will be for those who pre-ordered the phone. The company is also offering some offers on the Nothing Phone 1 for the customers to pre-order. The customer will give an instant discount of Rs 2,000 through HDFC Bank cards. This discount will be applicable on EMIs of 3 and 6 months as well as on full swipe. Apart from this, exchange offers will also be available.
Apart from this, there will be a discount of Rs 1,000 on buying 45W power adapter or Nothing Ear 1 TWS earphones with the phone, after which you can buy them for Rs 1,499 and Rs 5,999 respectively.
Nothing Phone 1 specifications
The dual-SIM (Nano) Nothing Phone 1 runs on Android 12 and sports a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Corning Gorilla Glass is also available in the back of the smartphone. Other display features include HDR10+ support, 402 ppi pixel density and 1,200 nits peak brightness. The smartphone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
Nothing Phone 1 gets a dual-camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors. The first is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor, paired with an f/1.88 aperture lens and supports OIS as well as EIS image stabilization. The second 50-megapixel sensor is the Samsung JN1 and is paired with an f/2.2 aperture, ultra-wide angle lens. It comes with EIS image stabilization, 114-degree field-of-view and macro mode. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor with f / 2.45 aperture lens for selfie and video calling.
Nothing Phone 1 gets up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 inbuilt storage. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6 Direct, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and USB Type-C port. Onboard sensors include in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, electronic compass, gyroscope, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. The Nothing Phone 1 packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging, 15W Qi wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging.
The phone comes with an IP53 rating to protect against dust and water. It has dual stereo speakers and three microphones. There is a glyph interface that allows users to select the light effect on the back of the phone for personal contacts and other notifications. The company says that it will get Android update for 3 years and security patch support for 4 years.
