Parineeti Chopra’s mother Reena Chopra calls herself ‘truly blessed’ after the actor’s engagement to Raghav Chadha

Actress Parineeti Chopra’s mother Reena Chopra shared a heartwarming note a day after she got engaged to Raghav Chadha. Parineeti and Raghav were rumored to be dating for a long time. Reena shared a picture of Parineeti and Raghav from their engagement and wrote, “There are reasons in your life that make you believe again and again and again and again that there is a God above. This is one of them.” He also added hashtags like ‘Truly Blessed’ and ‘Thank you God’.

He also thanked those who wished him and the Chopra family on the occasion. She wrote, “I want to thank all of you who have reached out and sent your blessings and wishes for her.” Reena also added some inside pictures from the ceremony held in Delhi.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got engaged on Saturday evening at Delhi’s Kapurthala House in the presence of family and close friends. The couple shared the news with fans through similar posts. “The thing I prayed for…I said yes…Waheguru ji mehar karan,” Parineeti wrote on Instagram. Raghav tweeted, “Everything I prayed..she said yes. Waheguru ji mehar karan…”

Their engagement was attended by several politicians like Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray, Congress leader Rajeev Shukla, P. Chidambaram and others. Priyanka Chopra, Manish Malhotra, Pawan Sachdeva, Sahaj Chopra, Shivang Chopra and other friends and family members of the couple were also among the guests.

A traditional Sikh ceremony was held for the engagement. Parineeti and Raghav were decked up in traditional ivory outfits for the special day. From the dreamy white decorations to the massive multi-tiered cake, it was quite the celebration. In some videos, the couple is seen singing and dancing together.
