Simi Garewal responds to criticism for sharing Mahesh Bhupathi’s video with his first wife: ‘So quick to judge’

Actor Simi Garewal recently posted an old video clip from his popular chat show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal which features tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi and his first wife Shweta Jaishankar. However, a section of social media expressed displeasure over the video as Mahesh and Shweta are no longer a couple. They separated in 2009 after the divorce. Sharing the video last week, Simi wrote on Instagram, “Mahesh Bhupathi and Shweta Jaishankar (his first wife). This meeting with Mahesh and Shweta happened in the first year of their marriage. Both lovely people who could not get along in the end…”

Mahesh was married to Shweta Jaishankar, a model, for seven years. After their divorce, Mahesh married actor Lara Dutta on 16 February 2011. The couple is now blessed with their first child, daughter Saira Bhupathi, who was born on January 20, 2012.
