Sudha Murthy reveals why Narayana Murthy weighs as much as he did on his wedding day; Fans praise his sense of humor

Author-philanthropist Sudha Murthy revealed that her husband Narayana Murthy weighs the same now as he did at the time of their marriage. Talking about her husband, Sudha said, “Narayana Murthy shaadi me kitne kilo abhi utna kilo hi hai (Narayana Murthy’s weight now is the same as it was at the time of our marriage). Because I am a bad cook, my husband Has maintained its weight. Weight.” She smiled as she jokingly tore everyone apart.

Sudha also talked about hearing Narayana Murthy’s name for the first time and thinking that he was an ‘international bus conductor’. “A friend his name is Prasanna, and he is my colleague in Telco. We go to work everyday by bus. And every day take a book, in each book it is – Narayan Murthy Istanbul, Narayan Murthy Peshawar, Narayan Murthy Paris. I thought this Narayan Murthy is an international bus conductor? (I had a friend named Prasanna, who was also my colleague. Every day he used to get a book… I used to think who is this person, is he an international bus conductor?) Sudha’s hilarious reaction made everyone laughed, but he has much more to add.

He also remembered his colleague saying that Narayan wanted to meet him. He said, “I felt handsome, bold, dashing, just like a movie hero. When he opened the door, I was like, who is this man, the little boy? From the door I was like, who is this little boy?).” This thing of his made everyone laugh.

NR Narayana Murthy is the co-founder of Infosys. Sudha was recently awarded the Padma Bhushan for her contribution to social work. Both married in 1978. They have two children – Akshata Murthy and Rohan Murthy. Akshata is married to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
