Twinkle Khanna wears fake moustache, recalls mother Dimple Kapadia teasing her for having ‘muchi’ as a child
Twinkle Khanna on Saturday shared a glimpse of her new interview with ace chef Sanjeev Kapoor on Instagram Reels. She discusses recipes, her career as a cooking show host, and more. She told Sanjeev, “Actually, when I was a child, my mother used to tease me (because) I had a natural moustache. She used to say ‘Muchi ho to Nathulal jaisi ho, varna na ho. It should either be like Nathulal or Shouldn’t happen at all)’.” The actor-turned-writer was referring to Amitabh Bachchan’s line from Sharabi (1964), where the actor said, “mooch ho to Nathulal ji jaise ho orna na ho” (there is no one).”
In the video posted on YouTube, Twinkle continued to wear the fake mustache during the cooking competition with Sanjeev. They declared her the winner and burst into laughter as Twinkle finally removed the moustache.
