Late actress Vaibhavi Upadhyay’s fiance Jai Gandhi on Friday said she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. They also said that they were not speeding and the car was standing still. The late actor was best known as Jasmine in Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai. She played the love interest of Rosesh Sarabhai (Rajesh Kumar) in the popular family comedy. The makers and actors of the show attended Vaibhavi’s funeral. The show’s producer JD Majethia had mentioned to the paparazzi at the funeral that she was not wearing a seatbelt and later, a news report also shared a quote from a police officer.

Vaibhavi and Jai were to get married this December. He told ETimes, “There is a perception that you speed up on road trips, but it was not like that.
