Renowned actor of Hindi and Marathi films Sunil Shende has passed away. He breathed his last at his Mumbai home on Monday. Sunil was 75 years old. He is survived by wife Jyoti, two sons Omkar, Rishikesh, daughter-in-law and grandson. Sunil Shende worked in the TV serial ‘Circus’. In the serial, he became Babuji of the character played by Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from this, he worked in many serials of Doordarshan.

Sunil Shende was at his home and felt dizzy. It is being told that he died due to internal bleeding in the body. He died at his Vileparle residence around 1 pm. His last rites were performed on Monday at 1 pm.

Sunil Shende made his debut in the industry with the film ‘Gandhi’. In this, he was in the role of a robber. Sunil Shende played important roles in many films in the 80s and 90s. His main films are ‘Sarfarosh’, ‘Gunah’, ‘Khalnayak’ among others. Because of his strong personality, he mostly got the roles of police and politicians. He was away from the industry for the last few days.
